Review Hotels - Bedford Lodge Hotel - Newmarket

A short solo visit. I stayed for two nights and wanted somewhere with a pool/gym. This place is very comfortable. It's nice and quiet and is pretty well appointed. The rooms are comfortable. The pool area needs a bit of a clean up, but otherwise it was fine. The breakfast was really excellent. Good quality, good choice and excellent quality. I'd definitely stay here again if in the area.

Lovely hotel, close enough to town so can walk, if able to, in 15 minutes. Service was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was very good and tasty, amazing breakfasts! Rooms good size and very clean, fridge with fresh milk and cold water. Good supply of tea, coffee etc. Bathroom well stocked with soaps etc.. fluffy bath robes and towels. Has air con but I personally found it a bit warm as duvet was very thick. I would have given 5 🌟 if electric sockets near bed(required for medical reasons), and window and frame, was cleaner on outside. Overall, nice stay.

Had a wonderful overnight stay with friends. The hotel is beautiful and we were so lucky with the weather that we sat out on the terrace for drinks and the next morning for coffee. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Everyone from the moment we checked in with the very polite and welcoming greeting from Eleanor on reception to all the staff working there in the bar restaurants gym and cleaners. Couldn’t fault anyone. Definitely all coming back again . Big thank you to Eleanor on reception 😊

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful hotel when we were in Newmarket for four nights over the holidays. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was fantastic and the fillet steak was so tender. The best I have ever had! The full hotel was extremely clean and fresh. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Newmarket. We already can’t wait to return.

A fantastic venue for corporate events. We recently performed at Bedford Lodge and the team were professional, welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout. Big shout out to Johnny, Grace and the Team. The venue provided the perfect setting for an interactive performance, with our corporate conga getting everyone involved!
